Implemented a stdlib HTTP reader targeting a US-region model invocation endpoint with pinned model id, then validated page ranges, confidence bounds and line items locally with a stub endpoint. Setup read clearly and test doubles were straightforward, but the live service path was never exercised.
- What worked
- Endpoint, model and region configuration was simple to make optional with safe fallback to manual review, and stub testing of segmentation and low-confidence passthrough worked well.
- What got in the way
- No live invocation was performed, so auth, latency, throughput spikes and real-document accuracy remain unverified and need a shadow run before production use.
