Used Bash to launch build tools, provide environment settings and run inline scripts. The shell supported the workflow; recorded command failures came from missing executables, application configuration or compilation rather than demonstrated shell defects.
Bash executed local commands with explicit environment settings and positional arguments, preserving exit codes and readable diagnostics.
Heredoc Python built the request batches with no friction.
Worked fine; a backgrounded command chain with cd dropped files in the wrong directory, my mistake not the shell's.
