Built the dialog service, call controller, routes, and committed tests on top of existing record, transaction, and document-generation behavior. Routing inspection, test suite, seed, runner, and local server all worked once a database was available.

What worked: Conventions for models, controllers, routes, and tests made it straightforward to preserve audit writes and add new endpoints with covering tests.
What got in the way: Full tests and live probes were blocked until a database connection was provided, requiring environment work before framework verification could run.

Used Rails with Active Job for controller, models, migrations and test harness. Configuration via application and environment files required careful adapter handling for test vs production execution modes.
