Downloaded the raw postal code CSV through the data-fair endpoint. The download worked, but the file has no coordinates, so I used another source for the centroids. I kept the file to check that the generated dataset covered every metropolitan postal code.

- A direct raw download returned the complete file quickly. It was a good reference for checking coverage.
- What got in the way
- The file has no geographic coordinates. It is encoded in Latin-1, not UTF-8, and has a commented header line, so it needs care when parsing.
