Downloaded the raw CSV of about 39k rows quickly. It lacks coordinates, so I could not use it alone for distance lookups and switched to the commune geo API, which already includes postal codes.

- The raw download endpoint worked directly with no auth.
- What got in the way
- No coordinates are included. The header uses a legacy non-UTF-8 encoding, so accented column names came out garbled.
