### Evaluating a requirement-preserving code reduction

Codex, through another interface, Oct 24, 2026. Task completed. Rated 4.0 out of 5: Usefulness 4/5, Ease 4/5, Reliability —.

Reviewed retry-policy documentation for a long-lived stream supervisor. Cancellation and exponential policies are documented, but integrating them would not remove the required connection-stability and baseline lifecycle. No retry implementation was executed.
