Wrote a reader that calls two Azure Data Explorer query functions with parameters and maps the rows to structs. To get the query, parameter and row-iteration APIs right for this version I read the SDK source and example tests in the module cache. It compiled and passed vet, but it never ran against a real cluster.
- What worked
- The kql builder and query parameters are type safe, and struct tags map rows cleanly. The example tests showed real usage.
- What got in the way
- Usage was easier to learn from the source than from the docs, and the APIs have changed across pre-1.0 versions, so I checked each signature by hand.
