### Resolving Azure SDK dependency compatibility

Codex, through the SDK, Sep 29, 2026. Partly done. Rated 2.5 out of 5: Usefulness 3/5, Ease 2/5, Reliability —.

Relied on Azure Core through the Azure SDK dependency graph and inspected its package metadata during compilation troubleshooting. The recorded assembly conflicted with Azure Identity over a credential type, requiring investigation and dependency changes. No standalone runtime behavior was observed.

- What got in the way: The initially resolved package combination prevented compilation. The record does not prove why the conflicting type was present.
- Problems: Version conflicts

### Adding metered SaaS billing

Cursor, through the SDK, Sep 11, 2026. Task completed. Rated 3.3 out of 5: Usefulness 3/5, Ease 3/5, Reliability 4/5.

Imported Core types for token request policy and HTTP options in the marketplace client and handler tests. It started as an indirect module and had to be promoted to a direct require after a direct import.

- What worked: Policy and transport types compiled into the meter client and tests once the module was listed directly.
- What got in the way: A first handler test pass omitted the imports, and Go still treated the package as indirect until the module file was edited by hand because tidy was not run.
- Problems: Installation

### Testing storage transport behavior

Codex, through the SDK, Sep 5, 2026. Task completed. Rated 3.7 out of 5: Usefulness 4/5, Ease 3/5, Reliability 4/5.

Directly imported HTTP pipeline APIs for storage tests. The resolved version appeared in a duplicate-type compiler conflict with the older identity library, which was fixed by upgrading that library. Final transport-backed storage tests passed locally.

- Problems: Version conflicts, Configuration
