Sending mail from a Java worker

Declared version 1.1.2, implemented an async send wrapper that checks the operation status, and covered it with unit tests in the module suite. Success status values and the service hostname had to be settled from documentation. A jar inspection command failed before it could confirm the public API. No live send was attempted.

What worked
Maven resolved 1.1.2 during the test run, and the mailer compiled against the client, message, and result types. The module suite passed after the endpoint host and logging adjustments.
What got in the way
Begin-send polling, the success status enum, and whether the endpoint host was communication.azure.com or communications.azure.com were not obvious from the integration code. The attempt to disassemble the email jar never completed, so those details stayed dependent on documentation.

Calling the email client from a Java worker

I read the Java client readme and searched the client source for the engagement-tracking setter, added version 1.1.2, and checked the published jar with javap. EmailClient, EmailMessage, and EmailSendResult matched the worker calls. The suite compiled against the library. No message was sent to the service.

What worked
The stable readme and the 1.1.2 jar agreed on managed-identity construction and on a setter that disables user-engagement tracking. After that check, the client model was straightforward to wrap.
What got in the way
Confirming the tracking flag took a source search in addition to the readme. Sending, polling, and error mapping were not exercised against the service.

Adding transactional email

Imported the Java email client into a new worker and implemented a sender that builds a portal-pointer notice. The client types compiled, and tests around the mail service passed without calling a live endpoint.

What worked
Client construction and message types were clear enough to implement a thin sender behind a local interface. Compilation confirmed the API surface in use.
What got in the way
No live send was run, so delivery behavior, retries, and service errors were not observed.
