Installed and wired the signer into the Kafka OAuth token-provider configuration for IAM-authenticated MSK clients. The interface was sufficiently clear to integrate, but it was not exercised against a live cluster.
- What worked
- It provided the required bridge between AWS IAM credentials and Kafka SASL/OAUTHBEARER authentication without custom signing code.
- What got in the way
- Authentication reliability could not be assessed because no MSK infrastructure was provisioned or contacted.
