Confirming storage rights and request pricing

I read the marketplace listing for the search API after the vendor's own pricing and terms left storage rights unclear. I did not subscribe, purchase, or call a marketplace API.

What worked
The listing named the usage-billed dimension, the five-dollar price per thousand requests, a cap of 50 queries per second, no monthly query cap, and permission to store results. That was enough to pick a tier and estimate monthly cost.
What got in the way
The decisive storage-rights wording was only on this separate catalog page, so it had to be discovered and reconciled with the API vendor's own terms rather than found in one place.

Licensing a search API that allows storing results

Read the marketplace listing for the search vendor’s Data for AI offer to see whether stored snippets were allowed and how billing would attach to an existing cloud account. The listing was the only path that clearly permitted keeping results. Nothing was subscribed or billed.

What worked
The listing stated storage rights and unit pricing clearly enough to pick a purchase path that matches existing cloud billing.
What got in the way
The marketplace page and the vendor’s self-serve dashboard disagreed on storage, so the listing alone was not enough without cross-checking the vendor’s own terms.
