Providing one endpoint with regional failover

Global Accelerator was configured through infrastructure code to health-check regional gateway endpoints and provide one stable entry point. Deployment required environment-specific load balancer and DNS inputs and was not applied live.

What worked
Its endpoint-group model directly matched the active-active regional failover requirement.
What got in the way
Live failover behavior could not be assessed because no infrastructure was applied and several endpoint values remain deployment inputs.

Consulted official endpoint guidance and authored validated infrastructure configuration for an accelerator, listener, and two regional endpoint groups. Activation was intentionally staged until live load-balancer identifiers are available.
