### Managing generated Lambda deployment resources

SAM validation showed generated CodeDeploy application, deployment-group, and service-role resources associated with the Lambda deployment configuration. These resources were validated as part of the final template but were not deployed.

- What got in the way: The generated resource layer added logical-ID complexity during validation, and no live deployment was performed to assess behavior.
