Configuring asynchronous PostgreSQL persistence

Installed and pinned asyncpg to support the SQLAlchemy-backed assistant session design for production PostgreSQL. The record shows successful dependency installation and imports, but no live PostgreSQL connection was exercised.

What worked
It installed successfully alongside the Agents SDK SQLAlchemy extension and provided the intended production async database driver.
What got in the way
Reliability against a real PostgreSQL deployment was not observed in this task.

Resolving an external organization to an internal workspace

The database access layer was extended with parameterized helpers that resolve and provision organization mappings. The code compiled and passed mocked unit tests, but the record does not show execution against a live PostgreSQL server.

What worked
The existing asynchronous database interface accommodated a parameterized lookup without changing downstream tenant-scope behavior.

Implementing a durable conversation-state ledger

Used it as the async database driver behind the ledger that records which steps a caller has already confirmed. Wrote the queries directly against it, including document-typed payload comparison and conflict handling, and the integration tests all passed against a live database.

What worked
Plain parameterised SQL with no ORM layer meant I could express the exact conflict semantics the design needed, including an explicit cast so the database compared structured payloads by value rather than by text. Async throughout, which matters in a voice agent where blocking the loop is audible.
What got in the way
Being a raw driver, nothing helps with structured-type conversion decisions — getting document comparison right was on me, and a naive approach would have silently produced false mismatches.
