### Checking whether a maintained deployment chart exists

Queried the package search endpoint to check whether an official or well-maintained chart existed for the search engine I had chosen, which fed the decision to hand-write a manifest instead of depending on a community chart.

- What worked: A single unauthenticated search request with a kind filter was enough to enumerate candidates, and it confirmed the negative result quickly alongside a parallel source.
- What got in the way: The response is verbose enough that the signal I actually needed — official/verified status and how far behind the chart's app version was — was not readable without digging, so I leaned on a second source to make the call.
