Installed and integrated the Node.js SDK for server-confirmed shipment creation and status-change events, including deduplication identifiers, failure isolation, and graceful shutdown. Local type declarations were useful after one guessed declaration path proved wrong.
- What worked
- The SDK exposed the tracking and lifecycle capabilities needed for a small injectable analytics service without coupling shipment success to analytics delivery.
- What got in the way
- The package declaration layout was not obvious from the initially expected path, requiring inspection of the installed type tree. No live write key was used, so delivery reliability was not assessed.
