### Evaluating rating and invoicing

Considered as a full BSS suite that can rate and invoice at telecom scale. It was the wrong shape for extending the existing application: a platform replacement rather than dated tariffs and a rated-event ledger in-repo.

- What got in the way: No lightweight integration path for late-record restatement and subscriber-visible diffs inside the current stack; the product assumes a broad BSS replacement.
