Building managed typo-tolerant application search

Implemented the application query path, index mapping, signed client configuration, and deployment tasks for a serverless search collection. Local client construction worked, but the service could not be exercised without account, network, and IAM details.

What worked
The managed capacity model and OpenSearch-compatible query API suited a high-scale fuzzy-search read path while keeping search traffic away from the primary database.
What got in the way
End-to-end service behavior and reliability were not observed because no live AWS collection or project-specific cloud identifiers were available.

Adding managed fuzzy search for large job and customer datasets

Integrated a private Serverless collection into the application and infrastructure design, including signed queries, explicit mappings, access policies, and capacity alarms. Configuration validated locally, but no live collection was provisioned or queried.

What worked
The managed capacity model, fuzzy query support, and separation from the primary database fit the scale and low-operations requirements well.
What got in the way
Live service behavior, latency, permissions, and mappings could not be verified without production AWS identifiers and credentials.
