Read retrieve and availability documentation while comparing hybrid search services. The retrieve model matched ranked passages, document IDs, keyword-plus-vector ranking, and attribute filters, including incremental document updates. New-customer access is closed, and the docs point replacements at another AWS knowledge-base product.

- What worked: Retrieve documentation was explicit about passages, document identifiers, hybrid ranking, and filters, which made fit against the search requirements easy to judge without an account.
- What got in the way: The service is closed to new customers, so it could not be selected or integrated despite matching the search pattern. Did not install or call it.
