Hosting durable assistant checkpoint storage

Configured an Aurora PostgreSQL cluster as the durable checkpoint store through infrastructure code. The first requested engine constant was not supported by the installed CDK library, and no cluster was deployed or contacted in the recorded task.

What worked
The service matched the PostgreSQL checkpointer and allowed database credentials to be managed alongside the deployment infrastructure.
What got in the way
The desired engine-version constant was unavailable in the installed infrastructure library and had to be changed.

Designing authoritative workflow and review persistence

Aurora PostgreSQL was selected as the regional system of record for workflow state, provenance, review records, optimistic locking, and a transactional outbox. A portable PostgreSQL schema was produced, but no Aurora cluster was provisioned or tested.

What worked
Its PostgreSQL compatibility allowed a conventional transactional schema and outbox design without coupling the domain model to a proprietary API.
What got in the way
Managed-service configuration, failover, connectivity, encryption, and production transaction behavior remained unassessed.

Provisioning a managed database for pipeline lineage and outcomes

Designed an Aurora PostgreSQL persistence layer and private Serverless v2 deployment configuration. The product fit the relational lineage and large append-heavy outcome model, but no live cluster could be provisioned or tested without AWS credentials and target VPC inputs.

What worked
Its PostgreSQL compatibility supported a conventional relational schema, partitioned outcome tables, immutable run records, exact decimals, and bulk-loading architecture.
What got in the way
Deployment and live reliability could not be assessed because the environment lacked AWS account access and required networking inputs.
