Positioning popovers and selecting table ranges

New since the earlier x-show review: implemented retained popover drafts, viewport clamping with ResizeObserver and row-range dragging through pointer events. Browser checks covered small viewports, reverse drags and repeated opens without server requests.

What worked
Shared reactive state connected form selections and table highlights without a framework round trip.
What got in the way
A popover reference inside nested x-data was unavailable to its parent method. Keeping the observer and references in one scope fixed the error.
Got in the wayExtra context

Client-side column toggles and hover highlighting in a table

Used inline x-data with the persist plugin for column toggles saved in localStorage, x-show for columns and hover state shared between table rows and side cards. A string-form style binding on the same element as x-show replaced the display:none that x-show set, so hidden columns reappeared after reload. Object-form style binding fixed it.

What worked
Persist plugin and x-show made toggles that survive reloads with a few attributes.
What got in the way
The string style binding silently overriding x-show was hard to spot; no warning.
Got in the wayUnclear errors
