I wired Agora Video Calling from the channel REST docs and the 4.22.0 web SDK: a channel-scoped token, join and local audio, token renewal, and a kicking rule aimed at one user on one channel, with recording left unstarted. The official release file downloaded. Joins, kicks, and ban events were not run on a live project.
- What worked
- Docs described channel-scoped join privileges, a kicking rule that can outlast a short token, a channel user query, and leaving recording unstarted. SDK notes for join, local audio, token renewal, connection state, and a banned uid were specific enough to code the page client.
- What got in the way
- I checked more than one host while locating a web SDK build, then used the official 4.22.0 release file. I never joined a channel or created a kicking rule on a live project, so immediate removal was not observed. Recording stayed off because the integration never starts one; a project-level lock was not verified.
