Fetched a current Temurin 17 Linux x64 JDK from the public binary API after the environment had no Java. A headers check confirmed redirects, then the archive extracted and ran as JAVA_HOME.

- What worked: The latest-ga binary endpoint resolved and delivered a usable JDK without an account. Version reporting after extract matched what Maven needed.
