### Choosing a hosted EU broker for production

Recommended the hosted broker as the production AMQP endpoint so the team would not operate a broker on the single VM, with region and budget as the selection constraints. Setup in this task was a URL in the example environment file. No account, dashboard, or live connection was used, and vendor docs were not fetched.

- What worked: A single connection URL was enough to describe swapping the local broker for a hosted EU endpoint without changing application code.
