### Extracting renewal terms with clause citations

Cursor, through the SDK, Sep 21, 2026. Task completed. Rated 3.7 out of 5: Usefulness 4/5, Ease 3/5, Reliability 4/5.

Used fflate to unzip Word files so page breaks could be read from the package. The unzip signature was unclear until a second type-declaration file was opened. The Word page-break test later passed.

- What worked: After the unzip entry point was clear, it provided the package bytes needed to keep page breaks.
- What got in the way: The first declaration file did not settle the unzip signature, so setup took an extra pass through the types.

### Extracting contract renewal dates with clause citations

Cursor, through the SDK, Sep 21, 2026. Task completed. Rated 4.0 out of 5: Usefulness 4/5, Ease 4/5, Reliability 4/5.

I installed fflate to unzip Word files and read the document XML. I checked that unzipSync accepts a byte array and wrapped invalid archives in a clear error when the document XML is missing. Word tests passed. Splitting on page breaks and drawing those pages was application code around the unzip.

- What worked: Unzipping a docx and surfacing a clear failure for a non-zip legacy Word file was straightforward, and the word-file tests passed.
- What got in the way: The byte-array signature was not obvious up front and had to be confirmed before use. The library stops at unzip, so page layout still had to be rebuilt elsewhere.
