Adapting a native document and highlighting fill-in fields

Native find-and-replace preserved template formatting. Highlighting required closing the find panel to retain a text selection. DOCX export verified text background colors, and PDF rendering verified page layout after section removal.

Evaluating sequential document signing

Checked Google Docs as an existing Google document surface for tenant-then-landlord signing. It did not offer a true e-signature ceremony, so the recommendation stayed on the current PDF renderer instead.

What got in the way
Docs collaboration is not sequential legally useful signing, and it would not store a signed copy against a listing with a who-when audit row.
