Headless run with JSON events

Used run with --format json and an explicit model in an isolated home to check that it reads skills from the shared agents folder and to grade its answers. It found the skills and completed every run.

What worked
Reads ~/.agents/skills with no extra setup, and the JSON parts expose tool calls and text.
What got in the way
The default model came from the copied auth and was a video model that failed; passing -m fixed it.

Testing provider, tool-selection, and web-retrieval behavior

Flexible provider and search-backend controls made the harness valuable for experiments. Low step limits, provider instability under concurrency, and runs ending without a declared answer required exclusions, serial retries, and careful validity checks.
