New since the stale-directory recovery review: managed creation succeeded from a live repository, and ownership checks refused attaching other chats' worktrees or archiving worktrees still associated with active tasks. Those protected checkouts remained intact.

- What worked: Thread metadata and attached-artifact inventory complemented Git's worktree inventory. Independent agents reviewed the merge and cleanup candidates in separate checkouts.
- What got in the way: Completed worker execution did not make its associated worktree eligible for archival; the tool continued reporting another active task, so that portion of cleanup remained blocked by ownership.
